Denver Internet Marketing Strategy Firm Ebiz Machine Releases Second Article ‘Tracking Website Performance’ In Seo Miniseries ‘Rich Website, Poor Website’

In part one of the miniseries “Rich , Poor ,” we asked “in today’s battlefield, which site is destined to prevail?” We predicted that the page applied to the “rich” WITHseo.com would cause it to outperform the “poor” WITHOUTseo.com that was simply launched and ignored. But, what the heck does “outperform” mean? In this topic “Tracking ”, we will discuss the use of “ metrics” or “key indicators” to track the effectiveness of a strategy.

Denver, CO July 9, 2007 — Denver and development firm EBIZ Machine today released Part 2 to its case entitled “Rich , Poor ” described at www.WITHseo.com. In this , sibling websites www.WITHseo.com and www.WITHOUTseo.com are pitted against each other in an battle similar to the way in which the Jordache brothers competed against each other for love and in the hit mid-70s TV miniseries “Rich Man, Poor Man.”     Popular usability and techniques were applied to the ‘Rich ’, WITHseo.com, but the ‘Poor ’, WITHOUTseo.com, was simply developed, deployed and ignored. The plan is to track and publish the results over time in order to the lessons learned from the case with EBIZ Machine customers and the community.

In Part 2 entitled “Tracking ,” Bill Schwartz discusses the use of “ metrics” or “key indicators” to track the effectiveness of a strategy. He emphasizes that “before we present the results of this ‘Rich , Poor , we’ll need to clearly identify the business goals and we will rely upon to judge the relative of our demo websites.” Part 2 first identifies the strategic goals for the competing sites and then defines the and “key indicators” he will track in order to determine which site performs best.
