Evanston, IL January 12, 2008 — ConsumerBase celebrated the second anniversary of its ResponderInfo product this week. ResponderInfo is a website (www.responderinfo.com) that enables marketers to run counts and purchase consumer data instantly.
ResponderInfo was conceived by ConsumerBase to provide smaller data users with a convenient, cost effective list-building tool. Customers can go to the website, enter in parameters for consumer data and purchase lists with a credit card. The data in ResponderInfo comes directly from ConsumerBase’s database of more than 77 million U.S. consumers.
Upon its initial release, ResponderInfo caused a stir in the relatively calm world of consumer data due to wider than usual media coverage. Privacy advocates raised concerns about allowing such easy access to consumer data. However, ConsumerBase continued to market ResponderInfo and no privacy or security issues have surfaced in the two years that the product has been available.
Customers of ResponderInfo have ranged from independent insurance brokers looking to prospect in their own neighborhoods to large data brokers looking for a convenient fulfillment tool.
